Australians are hungry for plant-based foods and mushrooms tick all the boxes

Plant-based eating is the biggest global trend of the last decade, with more than one third of Australians choosing to eat less meat, or no meat at all.¹  Despite this trend, recent Australian research indicates that the food service sector is not tapping into the opportunity and a lack of variety of plant-based options is a key frustration for clientele when eating out.¹
